Fireman’s Microphone for Critical Emergency Broadcast and Zone Control

The RM-200SF Fireman’s Microphone is a purpose-built unit within TOA’s matrix voice evacuation system, designed to provide reliable emergency communication functionality in compliance with EN 54-16 standards. Specifically engineered for fireman or emergency-use applications, the RM-200SF facilitates remote emergency announcements and zone-specific broadcasting through its integrated Emergency key. During critical situations, operators can directly access and control designated broadcast zones, ensuring that time-sensitive information reaches the correct locations promptly and efficiently.

This remote microphone unit is suited for environments where safety communication is a regulatory requirement, such as public buildings, transportation hubs, educational institutions, and large commercial complexes. Its surveillance function continuously monitors the microphone status, including fault detection of the microphone element, thereby supporting system integrity and operational reliability. The RM-200SF also includes three programmable function keys, each accompanied by dual indicators, enabling flexible zone or group selections based on system design and operational needs. For facilities requiring broader control, the RM-200SF can be expanded using RM-210 or RM-320F extension units, increasing the number of available keys and indicators in groups of ten. The RM-200SF plays a vital role in structured voice alarm systems, delivering dependable functionality for emergency broadcasting and paging within complex building infrastructures.
